Employees use a program called BDO Flex, a key component in the public accounting firm’s culture, to help manage their work-life fit to create custom work schedules with job sharing, reduced workweeks and telecommuting options. Starting this past summer, BDO teamed up with Bright Horizons to offer employees and partners a Back-Up Care Advantage program, which provides back-up child and adult/elder care via a network of child-care centers and in-home agencies across the country. Beyond standard benefits, employees also receive up to $5,000 for adoption assistance, pet medical coverage, and paid maternity and paternity leave.
