TIAA-CREF provides a variety of programs, benefits and services that support a work-life balance and are available to all full- and part-time salaried employees. TIAA-CREF also provides company paid leaves for maternity, adoption and paternity. The Adoption Assistance Program reimburses employees up to $5,000 for adoption-related expenses. Female employees have a total of four months maternity leave; fathers and adoptive parents have three months leave time. In the past year, TIAA implemented an Alternative Workplace Program where the goal is to align an employee’s work style with the work environment (office, home, on the road or a combination).
